How BeGiving works
Celebrate what God is doing — then join in. Partners share the stories; needs are how neighbors say yes.
The Harvest
- Partners post living stories — events, stories, and news of God at work.
- Neighbors follow along, celebrate, and get stirred to join in.
- When you’re ready, a related need is the connection.
- The focus stays on God and the work — not on a transaction.
Organizations
- Become a Partner Organization and wait for a lightweight admin review.
- Share harvest stories — events, stories, and news of God at work.
- Post material, volunteer, monetary, or prayer needs when neighbors are ready to join — or share a recommendation (a scripture, book, or page) as a gift, not an ask.
- Watch people say I’m in on BeGiving — message them privately, or open People who said yes.
- Mark I’m in completed when helpers follow through; share the thanks back on The Harvest.
- You set priority among your own needs — not a popularity contest.
Community
- Start on The Harvest — celebrate what God is doing through partners.
- When a story moves you, open the related need and say I’m in — a personal commitment, not a payment or a contract. BeGiving never charges a card for a need. You and the partner can talk privately in BeGiving to arrange the help.
- On material needs, you can suggest a better product deal. The partner reviews it first; the hive sees it after they accept.
- Follow partners; matching alerts show in your BeGiving inbox.

- We are not accepting online gifts yet — there is no checkout on BeGiving.
- I’m in on a need is a commitment you arrange with that partner, not a payment here.
- Help for needs goes directly to the partners you choose.
- Email BeGiving from Contact if you have a question or want your account deleted.

Why the bee?
A small mascot with a big calling
Bees work as one body — diligent, ordered, and generous with what they make. That ethic echoes how we hope to live as Christians: side by side, carrying burdens, speaking life, and turning ordinary work into something sweet for our neighbors. BeGiving is a hive for that kind of love in public.
