The short version

BeGiving is a US website for people 13 or older. Be kind. Don't post abuse. I'm in is a commitment you arrange with a partner — not a card charge here. We are not a payment processor.

Who this is for

BeGiving is for use in the United States. It is not a children's service. By creating an account you are saying you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms.

I'm in is not a payment

I’m in is a personal commitment, not a payment and not a binding contract. BeGiving does not charge cards or move money for needs. Help is arranged with the partner offline. You can withdraw while the commitment is still open.

I'm praying on a prayer request is the same kind of yes — not a donation, not a contract, and not charged here. Dollar amounts you type are what you plan to give offline.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what you post from your account. We may suspend or close an account that harms neighbors, partners, or the site. To ask us to delete your account, email BegivingandHarvest@gmail.com.

What you post

Harvest stories, photos, chat, Bargain Hunter links, and reports are yours to post — and ours to host. Do not post anything illegal, hateful, or someone else's private information. Partners who post photos are responsible for permission, especially pictures of children. Stewards may hide or remove content and review reports.

We do not process money for needs

There is no checkout on a need. Help you promise with I'm in is arranged with that partner offline. Site gifts, when we can accept them later, would support the platform — not fulfill a partner need. We are not taking online gifts yet.

Partners

A partner application gets a lightweight steward review. An EIN, if provided, is a verification aid and is not shown publicly. It is not a warranty that the organization is a 501(c)(3). “Who they serve” tags are written by the partner. BeGiving does not certify tax status.
